Dr Foti has extensively trained in multiple world-renowned reconstructive and aesthetic surgery centers. In addition, he has more than 20 years of anatomical skill dexterity, including a microsurgical fellowship with Imperial College in London. Accumulation of international skills enables him to provide expert care to patients in central Melbourne. Dedicated to lifelong learning, he offers patients safe, progressive surgical techniques.
Gold Standard Training
He has performed complex reconstruction of the Head and Neck region at Royal Melbourne, St Vincent’s & Royal Brisbane hospital with a peer-reviewed publication on ‘Refinements in Head and neck surgery. In addition, he has used these skills to develop an expertise in Face Aesthetic Surgery.
He acquired expert skills in breast reconstruction when working in one of the world’s leading breast surgery units (Imperial College in London). This underpinned his holistic management of the Aesthetic Breast Surgery patient with training consolidated across Aesthetic clinics in London & Gold Coast.
Dr Sofiadellis has extensive experience managing Skin carcinomas and melanoma while in Queensland and The Alfred melanoma clinic.
Dr Sofiadellis has completed two fellowships in Hand surgery which includes Great Ormond Street and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals in London.
Qualification and Memberships
As a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, FRACS (Plast), he was invited to fellowships at Imperial College, Great Ormond Street, and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. His aesthetic training spans several European cities, including Harley Street and Cadogan clinic in London. He is a full member of the Australasian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH), the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
